Theme Description
Red is a color that instantly captures attention. It can symbolize love, passion, energy, celebration, warning, power, or strong emotion. In Life in Red, junior photographers are invited to observe the world around them and capture how the color RED brings meaning, mood, and life to a moment.
Participants should photograph any object, scene, subject, or emotion where red plays a key role in telling the story. The photograph should feel purposeful, with red acting as the main visual focus rather than a background detail.
Points to Remember:
- Other colors may be included only to support and highlight the red object, not distract from or overpower it.
- The red object should be naturally red or meaningfully red; avoid artificial or unrealistic coloring through heavy editing or filters.
- The object should be the main subject of the photograph and clearly in focus.
- Pay attention to lighting, background, and composition so the red object stands out clearly.
- Over-editing and excessive filters should be avoided.
- The photograph should represent a real-life scene and be clicked by the participant.
